Was alright as it appens. Treacle.
Filmed all round the old manor at the start.
Was born in Mile End hospital (work house!) and was up the old library last week funny enough, looking up old east end things. Good local history up there if you ever want to look stuff up. (Old East London Advertisers showing what the true east end was like. And trying to see who was on the court page that week! Loads of West Ham/local sport coverage/reports etc from any year).
Only open certain days now though. Well worth a visit.
The bird up there said that they'd filmed dyer the week before.

I like Danny but did he have to go full Cockney through the whole programme?Calling the Hampton Court lady "babe" and addressing Lord Melchett (or whatever his name was) as "Tim" I mean, Sir Derek Jacobi's from Leytonstone but you never see him bowling about like jack the biscuit. And I can't believe he didn't know how to pronounce "Plantagenet" I'm not buying that

I absolutely loved that who would of thunk it eh, Danny Dyer East end Geezer is a direct descendent of Oliver Cromwell and King Edward the third, Wow, loved that programme best one yet for me.
I loved right at the end of the programme when he got his little boy to shoo away the BBC camera paupers off his drive by saying " Get out of it ".

Danny Dyer is very much a giving celebrity I know that from family who have seen him up close , you cannot help how you talk, the man has no airs and graces, though that might change now, ha .
He should go to America now, the Yanks will lap that up like an exhausted camel does water.

Thought it was a great bit of tele.
Him and a few mates where a row infront of us in the semi final 2006 at villa park.he got a bit of attention before kick off,but was just another supporter overjoyed knowing we are in the FA Cup Final.
A nice enough bloke from my experience.

I traced my dads family line through the men back to 1540 ish directly (thanks to habing a very singular second name). That took me back 24 generations and I realised that 2 to the power of 24 is about 17 million. Of course those 17 million are not mutally exclusive, fact quit he opposite but if you can trace family back you can virtually guarantee you'll be related to all sorts. My first mentioned relation was done for smashing up the king's ship in Blakeney in North Yorkshire in 1337. The family were mercers (wool traders) in the 15th century and became kings watermen in the 1500s. The family were in Hampton at that time but some of them moved to east london around the 16th century and we've been there ever since.
